Mac book pro provides enough processing power to cope with the Ableton live software and various midi controllers that will be used to create the track. It also provides a secure center which wont crash due to high demand when using multiple plugins, for if the system crashes a lot of work could be lost costing time and money.

The resources above are the bare necessities to create a professional sounding track. Anything less than the above will slow down the creative process and in some cases compromise the final products quality.
